What is the mailbox rule in contract law?
Acceptance is effective upon dispatch (when mailed), not upon receipt. Does NOT apply to options, revocations, or rejections.
Card 6 — Constitutional Law
When can a state regulate interstate commerce under the Dormant Commerce Clause?
A state may regulate if: (1) it does not discriminate against out-of-state commerce, AND (2) the burden on interstate commerce does not clearly exceed the local benefits. If discriminatory, it must be necessary to achieve a legitimate local purpose with no non-discriminatory alternative.
