The Birth of Deckbase

Most of what we read is forgotten within days.

We built Deckbase because we were tired of reading a lot and retaining very little.

Books, articles, and courses were useful in the moment, then mostly forgotten in a week. The problem was method, not motivation.

Traditional flashcard apps often required hours of manual setup. Building study material felt almost as heavy as studying itself.

So we built a different workflow: AI that understands what you are reading and drafts cards quickly.

Then spaced repetition schedules reviews at useful intervals for long-term memory.

Now learning feels simpler: capture text, generate cards, and keep knowledge active with steady review.
